HOS at NADA Villa Warsaw 2025 | May 22—25, 2025

We are very pleased to announce our participation in the upcoming NADA Villa Warsaw 2025! HOS Gallery will present the works of DINKA and Paweł Olszczyński.

Paweł Olszczyński (b. 1985, Krakow) is mainly inspired in his works by Polish decadent symbolism, as well as art déco, which combined folk art with sharp cubist elements. The emanations of his fascination are creatures such as chimeras, sphinxes and satyrs. The unique ceramic tiles, combine the tradition of local post-war Malopolska craftsmanship, the use of similar elements in architecture, with the artist's own distinctive elements.

DINKA's (b. 1988, Vladivostok) most recent artistic practice explores the motif of playfulness as a spontaneous, joyful act that is unfamiliar to adults, constrained by the rigidity of the social system and rules. The artist also often uses her old childhood photographs, faded memories, as the basis for her artwork, which is inextricably linked to feelings of nostalgia and melancholy.
