On Thursday (11.08) from 6.00 pm we invite you to the opening of the exhibition "Infixus" featuring works by Marta Antoniak | Robert Kuśmirowski.
Infix, Latin infixus (in “in” and fixus “fixed”), an element in the stem of a word that enables the formation of derivatives. Derived from linguistics, the word aptly refers to the new quality resulting from inclusion, appending, and comprising, which is also the essence of the artistic synergy between Marta Antoniak and Robert Kuśmirowski. Their art is based on collected items from the past (including their privates archives) which enable them to explore historical legacies and to deal with the issues of memory, passage of time and nostalgia for fleeting moments.
