Maja Krysiak's works oscillates around figurative, surrealistic painting. The artist will present the latest series "Headless Giants", which consists of large-format, raw canvases filled with the characters from the circus and oneiric imaginary. For the artist, these figures become a metaphor of liberation from the bonds of reason and a transition towards corporeality, sincerity and emotionality.
