meeting with the artists and reading a fairy tale accompanying the Forest Desires exhibition

The fairy tale "Illa and the Crooked Tree" is about Illa, who decides to escape the Land of Two-Sidedness. On her journey, she enters a Forest with Crooked Trees where she meets hybrid creatures who accompany and support her in her inner struggle between destructive desire and hopeful longing. The three fantastical characters are inspired by the artists Aleksandra Liput, Antonina Nowacka and Nina Paszkowski. The fairy tale is part of the exhibition FOREST DESIRES and will be read by the actress Joanna Sobieska.
